What does the SOS feature do?

In a crisis, contact with the emergency services can save your life.

But not all crises are immediately life-threatening: if you break down in the middle of nowhere, your bike, boat or skis malfunction, or you’ve just rambled too far off the track, a lack of signal could quickly escalate an annoyance into an emergency.

Our satellite SOS service puts a reliable lifeline in your pocket, wherever you roam and whatever goes wrong.

Activation of this feature transmits an alert signal directly to a global response centre. They will subsequently notify the relevant emergency responders, such as local law enforcement agencies, highway patrol, the coast guard, or search and rescue teams, based on your GPS location and personal information.

IMPORTANT NOTE: UNLESS YOU HAVE A PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION WITH FOCUSPOINT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COSTS THAT OCCUR FROM THE USE OF THE SOS FEATURE. THE INAPPROPRIATE OR FALSE USE OF SOS MAY RESULT IN INCURRING ADDITIONAL, AND POSSIBLY SUBSTANTIAL, LIABILITY CHARGES.
